About Me
I am Elaine Aneira the artist. Now, I am also Elaine Floret, the beta reader. I used to write a lot and post my works online, and I had another pseudonym as a writer, but it's been unused for a long time. I have recently gotten into writing again, and my dream to getting a book published has been renewed. Elaine Eleri is the name I have gone with.
Reading has always been a favourite past-time of mine for as long as I can remember. It helps to keep my mind away from reality, and I love how stories are able to bring me through the mind's eye of different people around the world. I absolutely adore books that are light and/or thought-provoking, stories that make me feel. I am definitely partial to romance, fantasy, mystery and historical fiction books, but will definitely dislike anything that uses the gory, vivid details of cruelty (e.g. crimes against women) as the main drive of its plot.

This blog was born on May 2019. I took a hiatus and returned to posting on June 2021. For reviews between the start and end of this hiatus, please head on over to my Goodreads account.
